What's included & getting your site ready

What our installers do

Every installation is carried out by a vetted, WoodUpp-trained installer. On the day, your installer will measure, prepare and precision-cut your panels on site — including cut-outs around plug points, switches and fixtures — and fit them to a clean, professional finish. We remove plug point covers where needed, leave your space clean and take all rubbish with us.

What we ask of you

Your space, ready to go. Installation surfaces must be level, dry, structurally sound and cleared of obstructions, with all electrical, plumbing, HVAC and building work completed before we arrive.

A workspace for your installer. A safe, clean area close to the installation point where panels can be measured, prepared and cut — with access to a power point and ideally protected from the weather.

Access on the day. The name and number of the person providing access — especially for offices, commercial properties, estates and managed buildings — plus any site requirements we should know about: working hours, noise restrictions, security codes, permits, parking or building management rules.

Good to know

Our installers only install WoodUpp products.
Installation is quoted separately from panels — priced per panel, per cut-out, per end slat. No pricing is shown on the website; everything is quote-only.
Electrical work is not included — we remove plug point covers, but all electrical work is the client's responsibility.

Our 24-month workmanship guarantee: what's not covered

Walls and surfaces

WoodUpp panels are a permanent wall fixture. By proceeding with installation you accept that WoodUpp Africa is not responsible for damage to walls, ceilings or surfaces during installation or later removal — including marks, holes, and the cost of restoring surfaces to their original condition. It is your responsibility to ensure the surface is suitable, and we strongly recommend using a qualified installer. Any remediation, redecoration or restoration costs are the customer's responsibility.

Site readiness

Before our team arrives, the installation area must be level, dry, structurally sound and ready to receive panels; all electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related building work must be completed; the area must be cleared of obstructions with unrestricted access, a reliable power supply and sufficient working space. Any moisture ingress, water damage, structural defects or substrate issues must be rectified before installation — WoodUpp cannot be held responsible for pre-existing site conditions that affect the performance or appearance of the finished installation.

Call-out fees

We charge call-out fees for site visits. If you proceed with the installation, the call-out fee is absorbed into your final installation cost. If our installation team arrives on a date confirmed by both the installation controller and the client and the site is not ready, a call-out fee will be charged.

Scope of work

Installers carry out only the work described in your approved quote. Any changes or additions to the scope — including extra panels, additional areas, or unrelated tasks — must be arranged with our office and will be quoted and charged separately. Installers are not authorised to accept changes on site.
