Terms of sale and delivery
The following conditions apply in cases where no other written agreements have been concluded between you as a buyer and Woodupp.co.za

www.woodupp.co.za accept the following payment methods: Payfast (all major creditcards). The amount will be withdrawed from your card only when the goods are sent from www.woodupp.co.za We will never withdraw a larger amount than approved at the point of purchase.
All prices include VAT and other duties. Prices are current prices.
Shipping of goods is always done with a courier.
Delivery to the door. Carrying in the goods is not included. Curbside delivery.

Right of cancellation
These rules apply only to sales to consumers, unless otherwise agreed. You have 14 days right of cancellation when you shop at www.woodupp.co.za. The cancellation period expires 14 days after you have received your item(s). You must notify us within 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase. In your notice, please make clear to us that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. You will find it in your order confirmation and at the bottom of these terms. You cannot undo by simply denying receipt of the item without giving us clear notice of this.
At woodupp.co.za, you pay your return costs yourself. You must send your order back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. Upon return, you are responsible for the goods being packed securely. You bear the risk of the item up to the time of delivery of the item. You can usefully reuse the packaging from woodupp.com. The absence of original packaging may represent a decrease in value, so to be sure to receive all the money back, it is recommended that the item be returned in the original packaging. Enclose a copy of the order confirmation or clearly state which order number it is regarding.
The condition of the item when you send it back
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. In other words, you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store. If the product has been tested in addition to what is described above, we consider it to be used, which means that you will receive only part or nothing of the purchase amount, depending on the commercial value of the item. In order to receive the entire purchase amount, you must do the same as you can in a physical shop. You are allowed to test the product, but do not take it in real use. If a product has been used, the depreciation will be deducted from your refund. Therefore, be sure to keep the protective foil on the goods until you are sure that you will not make use of the right of cancellation.
Refund of the purchase amount
If you regret your purchase, you will of course get the amount you have paid back. In the event of depreciation for which you are liable, the amount of the purchase will be deducted. If you use your right of withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer) , without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the date on which we have received notice of your decision to cancel this agreement. We will carry out such a refund using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, unless you have submitted, before then, proof of return.

You can also cancel the purchase by providing clear notice and handing it in personally at the above address, against prior agreement.
Deficiency rules of the purchasing law can be applied to purchases of goods. When you shop at www.woodupp.co.za you have 24 months warranty. This means that you can either get the item repaired, exchanged, the money back or a discount in the price, depending on the specific situation. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of improper use of the product or other harmful behaviour. You must advertise within “reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect in the product. If you advertise within two months of the defect being discovered, the complaint will always be timely. If the claim is warranted, we will of course refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The product must always be returned in proper packaging, and remember to obtain a shipment receipt so that we can repay your shipping costs. When you return the item, please provide information about what the defect is.
In the case of business / commercial purchases, the 24-month right of complaint will lapse and will instead exceed to a one-year warranty.

We register your personal information with the purpose of delivering the item to you. The personal information is registered at WoodUpp and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted. When personal information is collected via our website we ensure it always happens with your express consent, so you have been informed which information is being collected and why. The CEO of WoodUpp IVS has access to the registered information about you. The e-mail address is not disclosed to others. When registered at WoodUpp Africa you always have the right to object against the registration. You also have the right to insight in which information is registered about you. You have these rights by the GDPR act and enquiries regarding this should be directed to WoodUpp Africa via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org

We understand and respect the importance of privacy on the internet. We will not disclose information about customers/users to third parties, unless it is necessary to implement a transaction. We will not sell your name, address, e-mail address, credit card or personal data to any third parties without your prior consent.
Free sample campaign
Sample Limitation: Customers are permitted to order one (1) sample per colour for each individual address. This policy is in place to ensure that all of our customers have an equal opportunity to test our products before making a purchase.
Eligibility: To place a sample order, the customer must provide a valid shipping address. Duplicate requests for samples to the same address for the same color will not be permitted.
Policy Enforcement: We reserve the right to refuse sample requests that do not comply with these terms and conditions.
